MyPhillyLawyer was recognized for its excellence in multiple categories in the inaugural 2024 Philly Favorites competition brought to the community by The Philadelphia Inquirer. In its first year, the competition saw 7,725 businesses, organizations, and individuals nominated and competing for honors in over 280 categories.

MyPhillyLawyer was honored to receive Silver for Philly’s Favorite Law Firm. The firm also received a Bronze award for Best Personal Injury Law Firm, a Gold for Estate Planning, and a Bronze for Best Defense Law. Litigator Award (TM)

Honoring The Top 1 Percent Of Lawyers Selection for this prestigious honor is based upon the dollar amounts won for clients, making it one of the most open and objective awards given to attorneys. Unlike other awards, it does not depend on popularity or name recognition, but on measurable dollars and cents. Only 1 percent of all practicing attorneys receive this award from the Trial Lawyers Board of Regents.

To be eligible for consideration, lawyers and law firms must show two verified verdicts or settlements of at least $1 million in any of the practice specialty categories within the five years preceding nomination, one verified verdict or settlement of at least $5 million within the 10 years preceding nomination and one verified verdict or settlement of at least $10 million in any category within the preceding 20 years prior to nomination. These requirements vary slightly based on the size of the law firm.

Top 100 Trial Lawyers

The National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial LawyersThe National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 is an invitation-only organization made up of lawyers from each state who meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff and/or criminal defense trial lawyers. Selection is based on a thorough multiphase process that includes peer nominations combined with third-party research. Membership is extended solely to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile.

Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum

Multi-Million Dollar Advocates members must have acted as principal counsel in at least one case that resulted in an award of $2 million or more. They must already be members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum or apply concurrently for such membership.

The Million Dollar Advocates Forum (which includes the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum), established in 1993, is one of the most prestigious groups of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership is limited to attorneys who have won million and multimillion-dollar verdicts and settlements. Fewer than 1 percent of U.S. lawyers are members, which amounts to more than 4,000.

Many of the members have achieved numerous million and multimillion-dollar results (several members have won billion-dollar cases). Their practice areas span most areas of litigation, including major personal injury, product liability, malpractice, construction, environmental law, employment, insurance and business litigation. Each member has demonstrated, in an objective and tangible way, the ability to accomplish superior results in complex cases.
